Academic Program
Missouri State University offers a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a Master’s in Project Management. The Construction Management program is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE). Students in our program are offered an opportunity to select an emphasis in Mechanical and Electrical contracting. Advanced courses in Mechanical and Electrical Estimating and Building Automation Systems are available in the program. In our Interactive Mechanical and Electrical lab, students can gain a hands-on experience with multiple building systems.
Awards & Activities
Missouri State’s Student Chapter was charted in the Spring of 2017 and is excited to be part of MCAA. Our program has competed in the Associated School of Construction (ASC) Region 4 Specialty Contracting competitions with a 1st place in 2015 and 2nd place in 2016. Our students are excited to compete in MCAA’s student competition each year. In addition to MCAA, the program is also involved with ASHRAE. In 2016 our local ASHRAE chapter was awarded an Opportunity Fund to develop our Interactive Mechanical and Electrical lab.
