Service Contractor Workflow Project

This project was a research effort JRGF with assistance from volunteers from MSCA’s service contractor that focused on creating comprehensive workflows for both Maintenance Agreements and Pull-Through/Follow-Up Repair Work. The goal was to map out every phase, process, and subprocess involved in managing service agreements and repair work in the mechanical service industry. These workflows provide a structured approach to service delivery, covering everything from initial customer engagement and task planning to the execution of work and final documentation. By defining these processes in detail, the project aims to improve operational efficiency, resource management, and overall service quality.

In addition to the workflows, the project also identified key software features that align with each phase of the service lifecycle. These features are designed to help users understand the specific software requirements needed to manage tasks like data integration, resource allocation, and financial oversight across different phases. By integrating the workflows with corresponding software functionality, this project serves as a practical guide for mechanical contractors looking to optimize their operations, providing a clear roadmap for both process improvement and the tools necessary to support it.
